Decades after a nuclear armageddon that should have wiped out humanity, Civilization has retreated to small pockets of safety in a wasteland and has begun to thrive again.

A new republic has risen to take hold of the remaining resources. This Techno-Feudalist Regime promises absolute safety and comfort and it will only cost us our freedom.

Our story follows an ensemble cast of characters through the Synthwave-inspired, cyberpunk dystopia of Neon City and beyond.

None of us can ever know the depths of the consequences of our actions and we can never imagine the places they will lead us, nor the sacrifices they will demand.

Prologue
Thomas entered the Command Ring and the blast door started closing.
He pressed the enter key and collapsed to his knees.
Chapter 1
The bike was a custom red Scrambler with a high-capacity 223kW Q-Force engine. It was equipped with active and passive induction cooling, an almost-new Kensetsu mono-shock, and dual Martianite-reinforced mag-drives. Some would argue Red Shadow wasn’t the flashiest bike in Neon City, and it offered no room for passengers, but it was the nicest ride Reylin ever had the privilege of calling his own. He'd won the bike in last year's Midnight Run, the race the gangs use to draw their territorial boundaries. The win also bagged this particular slice of the China District for The Kings. This was, in fact, the reason he was even in this mess in the first place.
He closed his eyes and braced himself for the jolt of hitting the noxious water and whatever surprises waited for him under its surface.
Rose let out a small giggle as she skated along the side of the wall. Just before she reached the split, she leaped over the gap and carried her momentum to the opposite wall.
As it slowly lifted, it unveiled a… bike. Wagon? A trike. A three-wheeled vehicle that almost resembled a frog.
Heavy drops caught angled pillars of sunlight anywhere Neon City’s imposing architecture allowed. It created temporary sections of what would otherwise be a beautiful rainbow. Each multicolored block diffused into desaturated filth as it met the mist being churned up by traffic.
